Abstract photography deals with the ‘alienation’ of pictures. This comprises photos that not, or at least not entirely, display the reality, or are not based on physical reality. The abstraction can be found both in shape and colour, but also in sharpness or blur. Regarding abstraction, many people say: “It’s no use to me”, whereas other people love it. The colours, lines, surfaces and patterns form a picture you can look at for hours, and enable you to discover new shapes every time.
